Standing at 180metres high this is the tallest tower in Ireland, the vertical control tower is a 17 storey shaft with a 4 storey control room on the top. The tower is triangular in plan. The plan allows for a lift and an access stairs to the top of the tower. The tower and a tuned mass damper at the top. The tuned mass damper allows the tower to have a more elegant structure, it reduces vibrations at resonant frequencies and causing structural issues. The tower won the Building of the year- Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2021, Engineering Project of the Year- Irish Building and Design Awards 2021 , and was in Highly Commended- Irish Concrete Society Awards 2020
